I found this at the top of the list while doing a search for "desolate." I was looking to see what people had by way of photographs of places that are empty of human traffic, but not "dark" or "morbid." That has its place, but sometimes, I just want to see something peaceful. I could see spending an eternity someplace like this; nobody around, nothing to worry about, no place I need to go or would rather be. Bravo.
