Artist's Comments

When life throws problems or difficulties your way, how do you cope with it? Think about it. Are you like one of these rocks who takes the punishment that comes along, day and night yet still survives the beating?

This was taken in San Diego Beach, Batangas. Right after sunset so I could take long exposure shots to create the misty/fog effect with the water since I don't have an ND filter.

Comments and Constructive Crit. please.:)

edit: re-processed the raw file.;)

Wow.
The Water looks like Ice or fog.
It's amazing what effects can be reached with some simple shutter speed alteration

i want only to capture a minute part of reality :#1:
It worked. But I think it if you focused more on the water on the shore would create more drama on the picture. Other than that, it's good. :)

I love this, using a long exposure you've created a great contrast between the rocks and the water, this has also created a very distinct focal point. The orange in the sunset distracts me a little, perhaps darkening it along with the foreground a bit to stop the eye being drawn to the sunset.

Great shot :+fav:

It really is amazing. Thank you!:)
haha.thanks! Not a problem.:D
I tried a different crop because I think what I really want people to focus on is the water and the rocks in the water and not the ones on the land.:)
Thank you. I darkened the image already.:)
Ohhh.. I see.
